Your initials, not our logo.

Weston London makes a small number of things for golf, and makes them properly.

The clubs are fitted. The shoes are chosen. The watch was a decision. Then there is the glove: the one thing that touches the club on every swing, and usually the one thing taken off a rack with somebody else’s name across the strap.

Weston began with that glove.

Where it began

Before the monogram, there was the mark.

Our first gloves carried our name: six colors, the Weston tab at the wrist, our woven label at the cuff. They are the gloves that first put Weston on the course.

Then we took our name off the strap.

The Monogram Glove carries your initials where our logo used to be. One to three letters, hot-stamped in real gold foil into full-grain cabretta, on a glove made to order for one golfer.

It is the same care a good tailor gives a shirt cuff, given to the one thing in your bag that touches the club.

How a glove is made

Nothing is stamped until you order it.

  1. You choose themYour glove hand, your size and one to three letters, periods welcome.
  2. We set the type by handIndividual brass letter blocks, set fresh for every glove.
  3. The foil is laid on the strapReal gold foil, placed over the wrist strap where your letters will sit.
  4. Hot-stamped into the leatherHeat and pressure press the foil into the cabretta, so it settles into the leather rather than sitting on top.
  5. Finished and dispatchedThe glove is finished, checked and dispatched the next business day.

The leather

Full-grain cabretta, and why.

Cabretta is a fine, thin leather from hair sheep. It sits close to the hand, so you feel the grip through it rather than through padding.

Cut in one piece across the palm, so there is no thick seam where your hand meets the club.
Perforated fingers
Rows of perforations across the fingers let air through as you play.
